Canadian Waxes
Our waxes are offered in six shades:
They are available in various sizes: 2, 4 and 8 oz. They are made with beeswax and natural oil. The beeswax is passed through a sieve to make it clear, so it does not cause pale-colored furniture and accessories to yellow.
Our wax, Natural Bee, is 100% natural, you can use it without fear for all objects that will come into contact with food since it is approved FOOD grade by Health Canada. So it is safe to use on butcher blocks, cutting boards, wooden fruit bowls etc.
Wax Uses
Surface Protectant
Our waxes have been designed to protect paintwork.
The clear wax, Natural beeswax gives a slightly satin effect. It is very important that wax is the last product to be applied to your project because if you apply paint, varnish or glaze over the wax it will prevent good adhesion.
Create a Faux Finish
Waxes containing pigments allow you to give your furniture a boost by making it unique! You can achieve a cloud effect, Whitewashed and a Shabby-Chic style with our wax, Snow White. You want a style that wears over time, you must use the waxes, Antique Brown and/or Charcoal Black and for a faded barn wood style effect, it is with the wax, Gray Storm, that you will obtain the expected result.

You can mix 1/4 paint to 3/4 clear glaze. You can add color if you want a more opaque finish.
Fabric paint
