Colorantic™ DIY chalk paint is a smooth, creamy matte finish. It’s non-toxic, lead-free, and the bases have no volatile organic compounds (VOCs). And the pigments added have a very low VOC content: all the colors have less than 60 g/L.
Our chalk-based paints follow Health Canada rules and regulations, including our wax, which is approved as food-grade by Health Canada. Instead of using conventional metal cans like many paint companies, we decided to pour our paint into plastic containers with white screw-on lids. This adds longevity to the life of our paints. In addition to being environmentally friendly, our paint is water- and chalk-based, made from raw Canadian ingredients.
